Watergate Bay Hotel, Cornwall
We have had the privilege of working with Watergate Bay Hotel since 2018, leading the phased refurbishment of this iconic coastal destination.
The design brief focused on evolving the hotel’s signature concept of a “ski chalet on the beach”—a relaxed, layered aesthetic that blends alpine warmth with coastal energy. Our challenge was to retain this unique identity while introducing a greater sense of individuality and character to each space.
Since the beginning of the collaboration, we have successfully redesigned all guest bedrooms as well as the public areas, ensuring a cohesive yet distinctive experience throughout the property. This ongoing partnership reflects our commitment to thoughtful, high-impact design that enhances both the guest experience and the hotel’s enduring brand.
